The Bristol Cyclist - No. 42 - Winter 2001 | Previous | Contents | Next
Free folder produced by Bristol City Council.
This contains individual waterproof guides to 15 graded walks into the Forest of Avon, some circular and some linear. Every one is accessible by public transport, and the short mileage is designed to encourage people who havenšt walked for a while. Or useful if you only have half a day to go out in!
The guides are nicely laid out, including bus routes, local history and wildlife details, plus indications of pub stops on or slightly off the route.
A second folder will soon appear, with a few longer walks of up to 9 miles.
To get your own pack, entirely free! contact Bristol Tourist Information Centre in Millennium Square, Colston House, or telephone (0117) 903 6701.
